I am having issues with the adventure scene after level 1020, volume 4 chapter 29. No matter how many times I select the green book in Belcham’s office, nothing happens. I have already lost 30 energy bolts. Please let me know what I need to do or if you need additional information.

There is a glitch in the game, I hear. Some players have switched to a different device to play and it worked.

Same here. I'm stuck wasting energy because I cannot select the green book. I have no other device on which I can play, nor should I have to have one.

Just have to wait for devs to fix it. They are aware and are working on it.

I contacted Wooga re: same issue with green book that freezes that final scene with no way to solve. Response: “Working on it.”Players, don’t waste time and money on this glitch.

I hear it's not a glitch, but a trick. If that's true I'm not gonna be happy about it. I have tapped on everything green in that room including the word "green" . If this is a trick, that's a terrible thing to do to people who are wasting energy for nothing.

It's fixed now... I had that issue past couple of days and now was able to finish the challenge.

Same here! So glad to know it's not me. I've lost lives and boosters. Couldn't advance in the competitions after spending hours and even more boosters to get where I was when it glitches. Interesting that it hasn't been fixed yet.

Sometimes it helps to tap not on the object but around it or anyplace in the scene; the place to tap is there but not aligned with the object...
