Stars are a marker of your progress in the game, 5 stars maximum for each scene completed. They cannot be decreased or spent. As they increase, they open decorations in the permanent store, and in conjunction with compasses, open up land.

Do I need stars to open the 3rd island? Vol2, 700 stars and all from Vol1. Cca 3000 collected. All parts of both islands are opened, but no 3rd island! Why iscthat?.. running out of space. And can't find any info on that! 0 0 REPORT
Also, all names corrupted, changed.. Being a team leader, that prevents me to do my job. Wooga support keeps giving me automatic answers.

1. Third island is supposed to be available when both Orchid and Sunflower Island are completely cleared of clouds. First area on Laurel Island (3rd island) is free, but next area requires 25 compasses and 2562 stars, which sounds like you already achieved. Make sure you have the latest game update. If your game is connected to Facebook, try reinstalling the game.2. Go to game settings (green gear icon), select "social" tab. Above your name there is a box that says "Show players' custom names". Make sure box has check mark.
