Does it cost anything to put things in storage or take them out?

When you put things into storage, you lose their flower value, so that you'll need more flowers to level up and advance. But the flower value returns when you place them back on the island. Otherwise, their is no cost to moving things in and out of storage, and storage space is unlimited.
