How is it possible for someone to be at level 1050 in June’s Journey, when I am stuck at 967 waiting..

I have earned enough flowers to qualify for level 1050 which is what you are seeing on other person’s island profiles. However, I will not be able to play this level for several months as each of the final chapters open up on a weekly basis. Chapter availability is the same for everyone.

Players can level up beyond the number of scenes released, to the max of 1050 (end of Volume 4). But they can only play chapters/scenes that are released (scene #965, as of 2/23/21). When 5 additional scenes are released every Thurs, those that are ahead will have the scenes ready to play, no need to level up.
