I'm perplexed by the timelines in this game. In book 2, the grave indicates death in 1901, but she was sending flowers to a war memorial dated 1918?? In what war did the father die?
Per the gravestone, Amelia's mother, Dalphine, was born in 1867.
Amelia was born in 1890, per the locket in Chapter 1.
Her father, Julian Dumas, died in the French Conquest of Dahomey in 1892.
Dalphine brought flowers to the war memorial from it's erection until her death from influenza in 1901.
The memorial does have a plaque with year 1918, which must have been added later, dedicated to soldiers of the Great War (World War I 1914-1918).
In volume 2, June and Amelia are in their 30's searching for Amelia's mother in 1922.
