What's my job as president?

As president, you have to design you club, choose a meeting time, recruit, and maintain a viable club. You have to decide on the club priorities: compete in all or some competitions, share certain number of drinks and how often per day/per week, bush exchange coordination, chat within the game or outside, like FB messenger/FB group/Discord. Is your club going to be "open" to anyone to enter or "application" where players apply and await approval before they enter? You can invite players in your boat list, but you'll probably need more, so many clubs will advertise on FB groups. Once you have a group, you'll have to make sure they follow your rules and weed out the ones that don't. You can also promote members to officer status to help.

It's a big job, and there is a FB group for JJ leadership support.

But also consider that there are many clubs with vacancies that you can join and learn what makes a good club and a good president.
