For the last 4 chapters I've had to wait for over 4 days to advance to a new chapter. Is it because..

I'm having to wait seven days as I've now caught up with the developers, so I'm stuck doing the same levels over & over again. I also started selling my items I'd bought to make more room & now I'm needing more flowers & my islands now looking a mess,they say we will get the new island in the new year,but when in the new year lol I'm on level 955 & yet people who are on my list are way past me which puzzles me when I have to wait a week.
Anyone else having same issues.

Scenes #925-930 were released last Thursday,12/31/20. But as always, players can level up to the end of the volume, which is level 1050 currently. Those that have at least 5 levels beyond the currently released scenes will have the next 5 scenes ready to play, when released on Thursday. To avoid the long wait, some players will only play/replay one scene a day, so they only have 2 days of waiting.

I have caught up with the developers,but I dont understand why ppl have gone past me,some over 1000, hows that impossible when I cant go any further??

You can level up beyond the current scenes released. The maximum level is 1050 (end of book 4), but the last scenes released were #925-930 on 12/31/20. Those that are ahead at least 5 levels will be able to play the next 5 scenes when they are released on Thursday.
