Why do I have to wait 6 days to go to the next chapter?

It has not fully answered the question as to why the devs have not kept ahead of a lot of the more advanced players.

I am on chapter 20 of Volume 4. Waiting for 6 days, for next chapter. Yet a bit of research tells me that we would get a new chapter each week. So after I complete this next chapter, will I still have to wait another week for the next one?

I got to chapter 13 volume 5 before seeing the wait. I wonder why it is different for different players.

Since the conception of the game, only one chapter is released per week (with exceptions for holidays and between volume releases). That is their modus operandi. As of 15 Dec 2022, the last chapter released is Volume 6, chapter 40 (Scenes #1421-1425). Only those who are past level 1425 must wait for the weekly chapter release. You should not need to wait if you are in Volume 4. Make sure you have the latest game update.

But,can you tell me why we have to wait until Thursday if the chapters are already finished by the developers? I mean, people ahead of my 1495 level have played scenes that i have to wait a week for. That just doesn't make sense. If the scenes are done, let me play them. I spent today looking for a new game to replace JJ, and I have been playing for 6 years. The game has changed, that's for sure. I still love it, but not the same.
