Why is it that the first star of a scene sometimes fills up after one round of playing and can sometimes take up to 4 rounds?

The first scene of each chapter takes fewer points to fill the stars. The number of points you need increases with every star and with every scene in the chapter.

Thanks but that's not my question. I'm trying to ask why it takes different number of times I play the scene for the the first star to fill up in different scenes. For instance sometimes I only have to play the scene once and the first star fills up, but at other times I have to play the scene up to 4 times for it to fill up. (I'm only talking of the first star in different scenes.) 0 0 REPORT

First star in the first scene of each chapter takes about 1 play. First star in the 2nd scene in each chapter takes about 2 plays. First star in the 3rd-5th scene takes 3-4 plays. That's because the stars require more points to fill them.Ms. Tearius Replied
That's just the way the developers designed it with each scene in a chapter requiring more plays than the last.Guest Replied

Depends on your score too. You can fill first star on first try if you are fast. Some scenes are easier than others to play fast. Ms. Tearius Replied
I disagree. I score pretty consistently and the first star of the first scene in the chapter I can always finish with one play.
