Why does construction drag up to 5 days? You're stuck unless you keep purchasing diamonds.

It is designed to slow players down, make players repeat mastered scenes, so they will not easily get caught up with the developers. But if players really don't have the patience, then they'll have to spend real money for diamonds. That's game maker business strategy.
