How can I get rid permanently of items I don't want like detective statue?

Certain decorations won as rewards or grand prizes from seasonal sets cannot be sold. You cannot get rid of them. Just put them in your storage boat and forget about them. Eventually as you take other stuff in and out of storage, they will wind up at the bottom of your storage boat and you will never see them.
