I can’t open the 3rd compartment door. When I tap it, I only get the counter, and that has zeroed..

I can’t open the 3rd compartment door. When I tap it, I only get the counter, and that has zeroed out now so I should be able to continue? I know the answer to the 3141 riddle, but there is nowhere to put it?
