Ms. Tearius Answered:

If you are part of an active team, you can expect to get energy from serving and drinking coffee. If everyone on a full team gives just one free cup, you'll get 140 energy, which increases as members upgrade their drink energy using tips. Many teams get 250+ energy per meeting.

Besides upgrading drink energy, tips can be used to buy pink 5-star boxes for the individual.

If your team plays in competition, then expect prizes ranging from hundreds to thousands of coins to compasses to star boxes. Occasionally there will be special decorations for participants, too.

Another advantage is being able to chat and communicate with other members through the lounge chat. You may get to know players from around the world.

Some groups, in addition, coordinate a bush exchange program, so members can get more diamonds. And some groups help members attain the extended energy bar.

Correction: If everyone one on the team serves one free cup, you'll get 150 energy (since you drink your own cup). Max energy if all 15 members have max upgrade and serve all 5 cups is 1125 energy per day.
