Remember that Volume 2 (1922) was a prequel to Volume 1 (1927-1932) . Volume 3 takes place after Volume 1 (1932).
Joe was Amelia's boyfriend in 1922 - planning on marriage but ?? (Volume 2)
Pascal was her boyfriend in 1927 - murdered (Volume 1)
Eduardo is her husband 1932.
