There are no benefits to buying the fancy drinks. They are cosmetic changes only and give the same amount of energy as you coffee drink.

How long does the 'cosmetic" Wine icon change last? Is it permanent, till the next upgrade? And where do you find this Drink Energy Boost?Ms. Tearius Answered:
For best game benefit, save your tips to upgrade energy of your drinks. This gives everyone who drinks, including yourself, increased energy, up to 15 max.
