How many compasses do I have and how many more do I need to open next island?

If you still have plots with clouds to clear, tap on one and then tap on the green button to see how many more compasses and stars you need to clear that plot. Once you clear all the plots, you can move to the next island. For those who have finished clearing all plots on all islands, compasses are collected but not visible to the players. Developers say they will soon give us a way to see how many compasses are collected.

What didn't work? Tapping on a plot to see compass requirements? Moving to the next island?

Yes, did not work. OK, if you need 30 compasses vor the new area, you can see the 30. But: If you have 31 compasses in your pocket, you can see only the 30 you need for the new part of thd island

I think if you don't have enough stars but you have enough compasses, then you can't see the compasses.
