First promote the member to Officer status, by tapping the green button next to their name on the member roster. Then, if they have another green button, tap again to promote them to President, thereby demoting yourself. Unfortunately, there is a program glitch so the officer promotion button is not showing for some players. If that is the case, you must contact customer support and have them manually promote that officer. Use the "Help" button in the game settings (green gear icon) to contact customer support. Once you are an officer, you can click on the button with 3 dots (below the club's language) that allows you to leave the club.

Promoting any player to a position of officer (if necessary), then promoting that officer to President, will automatically demote yourself to officer. You're then free to remove yourself from the club.
