How many materials for each upgrade of a building?

Level 1: 6 wood, 6 hammers, 6 bricks.

Level 2: 16 wood, 16 hammers, 16 bricks, 8 paint cans, 5 rare materials.

Level 3: 18 wood, 18 hammers, 18 bricks, 12 paint cans, 7 rare materials.

Level 4: 22 wood, 22 hammers, 22 bricks, 14 paint cans, 9 rare materials.

Level 5: 26 wood, 26 hammers, 26 bricks, 19 paint cans, 12 rare materials.

Rare materials can be porcelain, copper, glass, terracotta, or marble.

Your question is too broad to have a specific answer. Every building is different.

You can, however, almost guarantee a requirement for common materials (brick, hammer, and wood) and the uncommon material (paint). In addition to those, building upgrades will variably require one or more rare materials (porcelain, copper, glass, terracotta, and marble).

You can also expect that each subsequent of a building will require larger quantities of materials than the previous upgrade.
