Can’t find a way to improve my island for more flowers to advance. Love the game (spent lots of $$), very frustrated. Everything I try is not available even though I have lots of coins and diamonds.?

Since you have lots of coins, try spending it on the super high-flower items (i.e. Fire Engine, Grand Greenhouse, and Park Playtime). Each costs 72,000 coins and give 2400 Flowers, which should open about 6-8 scenes. The more of them you have, the more you will advance your game and the more you will free up your island space.

If they are not available to you, yet, at your stage, then get the highest flower-value item that you can. Note that the seasonal set usually has a 900-flower item, if you don't have anything higher in the permanent store.
