What are your responsibilities when you join a detective club?

Technically, the game doesn't require you to do anything, but here are some recommended attributes of a valued club member:

1) Be courteous. Your fellow club members are real people, not a collection of cyber bots. if you are quitting the game and don't plan to return; leave the club, or at least announce your intention to do so. The president/officers of the club don't have sophisticated tools to determine when you last logged in. This allows active players to join and the prevents club members from exchanging plants with a player who has no intention of reciprocating.

2) Be knowledgeable. Read the Help section entitled "Playing June's Journey with others".

3) Respond in kind. If someone gifts a plant to you, return the gesture as your resources allow.

4) Be committed. Your level of commitment to a competition.should be commensurate with that of your club. Commit 45 minutes of uninterrupted time and a full bar of energy (at a minimum) if you're in a club vying for a top prize. Three (or more) full bars of energy is required for the best possible score.

5) Be strong. Save diamonds to get the Extended Energy Bar. You'll permanently increase your maximum energy from 110 to 150.

6) Be reliable. If your club has a designated meeting time that other members adhere to, plan on checking in at that time. Set an alarm if that helps you.

That all depends on the club you join. There are competitive clubs, casual coffee clubs, social clubs, as well as dysfunctional clubs.

Every club has their own rules and expectations.
