Why is there so much paint awarded as a "special" reward and so little used in renovations?

I have 753 tins of paint..... what is the point. A compass would be a better 'special' but they are like hens teeth!!

Fully agree, paint as a special item is ridiculous considering how little it is used. The fact that you can accumulate hundreds of tins feels like a design flaw or cruel programmer’s joke to me. Would be nice to be able to swap accumulated items that will never be used for something useful and Jack’s plane trips don’t come close to keeping up with supply of items, especially paint.

I agree that Jack's deliveries are not well balanced with the inventory. It would be better if players could decide which materials and what amount to use to get a proportional prize. Send feedback and suggestions to [email protected]

I have 400+ paint!!!...ridiculous!!!...this is not reasonable.

And yet I'm waiting to upgrade a building because I don't have enough paint...

I’m waiting on paint to upgrade 2 buildings and fill a Jack’s order. I’ve played 40 scenes and gotten 2 cans of paint!

I too need paint. It seems you go through patches with surplus, then nothing for a long long time.
