How do I earn more flowers & how do I earn more pipe building supplies?

Flowers are obtained from buying decoration, renovating landmarks, upgrading 3x3 buildings, and receiving Jack's Delivery. If you buy decoration, construction must be complete and red ribbon removed for the flowers to count. Buying too many low-flower decoration will cause you to run out of island space. High-flower decorations will get you further in the game. Building materials are given randomly after playing scenes and in star boxes. All you can do is play more and eventually they will come.
