Certain paths and fences will rotate (or change appearance) when you join them together. Otherwise, decorations and buildings cannot be rotated.

It’s looks odd when you can’t get a path or road up to the entrance of a building or my orangerie for instance. I can only put a path or road to the side. It looks weird.
