I try to invite a detective to join my club but they have a symbol of a person and a clock next to their name. What does this symbol mean?

Found it. The icon with a person and clock indicates you have invited this person, but you are waiting for their reply.

What I see are a list of people with either a green button or a gray button (icon of person with a "+" symbol). Green button you can invite; gray button you cannot because they are already in a club. I don't see any clock symbol.

The icon with the clock is on the left, and the ones with that symbol on the left have a red "ban" symbol on the right. If you are still looking for help with this game we have more questions and answers for you to check.
