I am prez of an open club and one of my members would like a friend of hers to join yet the club is full. Friend is presently in a club that does no competitions and unhappy. Please tell me if this sequence would be correct: 1) Friend would have to quit her club 2) I would have to remove a weak member of our club 3) Friend would have to find our club and apply 4) I would have to approve Friend. Thanks.
That sequence sounds correct for an "application" type club. For an "open" club, #4 does not occur. Anyone who tried to take the open spot would automatically be in. Friend would have to join the club before anyone else takes the open spot. As prez, you can change the club from "open" to "application".
