Can I start a second account for June’s Journey on the same iPad?

Yes, but you'll need a separate FB account and switch FB accounts between games.

My husband doesn’t have a FB account and he has been able to download the game. I do not use FB to play

Could you explain how to do this? I made a second Facebook account and started a new game. When I was asked to connect to Facebook, even though I was logged in with the new FB account it connected with my original FB to login as my first JJ account. Do I need to fix something in settings?

Try this. Log out of your old FB account and log into new FB account. Start the game and go to the game settings (green gear icon) and select "social" tab. Tap "edit connections" and see if there is a "log out" button at the bottom. If there is, log out and re-connect. Hopefully, the game will connect to the new FB account. You'll have to log out of game and out of FB every time you want to switch game accounts.

I have tried that several times today and it throw me into the first account. I play on an iPad and several team mates are having the same issue

I had to log into FB per web site and not the app to get my game.

In case this helps... I struggled through this today and found the answer (at least in my setup). Using an iPad, I tried logging out of June's Journey (JJ), closing JJ, switching accounts on Facebook, then launching and reconnecting JJ. I was unable to get JJ to connect to the new account (it always connected to the previous account). I finally realized my mistake was that I changed Facebook accounts through the Facebook app. JJ was only looking at the Facebook account that the browser (Safari) was connected to. I deleted the Facebook app, then used Safari to connect to the new Facebook account, launched JJ, and voila!, June's Journey connected to the new account.
