Being asked to visit storage. Do I need to plant more?

If you cannot get to the next level and the game says to visit storage, it means you need more Flowers added to your island to proceed. How may more you need is indicated on the main island screen, top right, next to the Flower icon. Since it says to visit storage, it means you have the necessary Flower value in your storage and just need to place them on the island to count. But if you lack the space for them, then you must acquire flowers in one of the other ways: buy decoration, renovate landmark, upgrade 3x3 building, or get from Jack's delivery. If you buy decoration, the flowers will not count until after construction is complete and the red ribbon is removed.

I apologize if my answer was unclear. You must meet the flower requirement to reach the next level, which will open the next scene. The game will continually ask you for more flowers to open the next level/scene. Flowers are obtained from multiple ways, as I stated above. If you buy a decoration, it is not necessary to use diamonds. Each decoration has a stated construction time, in which it will automatically mature. Best to wait and save your diamonds and replay mastered scenes for additional coins for your next purchase.

How do I know what to pick in storage? Some items delete flowers rather than add. It doesn’t make sense and is frustrating. I’m to the point I don’t want to play any more. I use the pink line to add flowers and all of a sudden then they are gone and I’m back to a black line. I’m apparently doing something wrong

The pink bar/line beneath the flower requirement depicts the exact same thing, so use that if it helps. You want the number next to the flower icon to go down. When it reaches 0, you'll move to the next level (number in red increases +1). Then the bar will immediately empty and the number will change to show how many more flowers are needed to reach the following level. ALL flowers from any source works exactly the same. Maybe it will help you understand if you place decoration on you island that is exactly the amount required.

Example: Next to the flower icon it says you need "100 more" flowers to reach level 51. From storage, you place an item than has 150 flowers. The counter will drop from 100 to 0 and your pink bar fills up and your level (written in red) will change from 51 to 52. Supposing level 52 requires 200 flowers. Since you had 50 flowers left over, it will carry over, so now the requirement will drop from 200 to 150. You close the storage to make the changes take effect. Your bar will show you need "150 more" flowers, but you'll be at level 52.

Help please it says visit storage but it won't let me place it nor will it let me purchase with the coins I have what I do

Make sure you have a space clear for placement, including free of any tiles, such as grass.

I really enjoy June’s Journey but am extremely frustrated!! Your response to my question was To have them delivered by Jack. Flowers are not an option for him to deliver. I have been unable to play this game for 10 days. When this problem started Flowers said “go to storage. I have done that multiple times; but there were no flowers in storage. Today it is telling me I need 190 more. What happened to flowers in storage. I’ve been regularly “decorating” my island . However, now when I buy an item it requires I not only pay coins but also wants outrageous amounts of diamonds. What is going on? If I can’t move forward from scene 35, I’m going to shut game down. There are plenty more games I can play

Sometimes Jack deliver Flowers, sometimes not. It is random what he offers.

When I use Jack he doesn’t give me more flowers, it is subtracted from my flowers!

The number indicated next to your flower is how many more flowers you need to reach the next level. Whenever you gain more flowers (buying decoration, renovating landmark, upgrading buildings, getting a flower delivery from Jack) that number will decrease until it reaches zero, at which point you go up a level. Then it will show how many more flowers for the next level.
