Keys are only earned during Detectives Needed Challenges. When a DNC event is active, you will see a stopwatch icon on the left side of your island screen. Tap on the stopwatch to see how many keys you have, how many you need for the various prizes, how to earn them (i.e from playing scenes, completing Help Wanted cases or both), and how much time is left in the event. Keys do not carry over from one DNC event to the next.

I have many keys and cannot figure out how to use them. This did not help 2 0 REPORT

The keys are only displayed when they have events. You have to earn keys to get the rewards in the events that are timed.

I'm more confused and do not feel the answer give enough info about the key. I know I win some for each time I go through the puzzles. But can never find out how many I have acquiredGuest Replied
Hit the memo sheet at the bottom right corner.You will see a chair, then the memo sheet, and the arrorw to play the scenes. I hope this helps.

When you look at the detectives needed screen (the stopwatch icon) you will see the different items you can win. Right above that on the right side you’ll see the total number you need to collect the last prize and you’ll see a key. So if the total to win all the prizes is 650 that means 650 keys. You will also see a key next to that number. I hope that helps. Guest Replied
