Why can’t I move the plants that were gifted to me to other locations on my island?

They don’t move either keep them when gifted or redeem them.

But if I want to keep the gift and put it in a different location, why not... its my gift and my island ?

Game was designed to remove them for game reward, not to move them around. That's just the way it is.

That's just silly , especially if it's the themed gifts that would match with my "construction ".. I want to keep it but just not where it was placed

I wish we could move them, too. What you can do is block spaces with decoration, so visitors can only put bushes in areas you want, then remove the bushes you don't want. Or you can ask a friend to place a particular bush where you'd like it.

I don’t get why some islands are COVERED with the bushes to the point where there is no room for anything anything else! All of those coveted stones they are missing out on! However, every now and then I would like to save one and place it next to a house or salon but they end up right in front of mansion where they look very out of place so I do wish there was a way to move them! Especially today when there are at least 5 different beautiful 1 day options of which I received 3 different ones bunched together . I want to move them!

How do you block spaces for the gifted bushes
