When and how do you repair the Pirate Ship?

You have to first restore the lighthouse and then the chapel to unlock the pirate ship for restoration.

Mine did the chapel first then the ship. I’m on level 19 of the ship whatever that means

Landmarks, in order:
1. Lighthouse, complete as soon as you reach level 20
2. Chapel, complete as soon as you reach level 20
3. Pirate Ship, complete as soon as you reach level 20
4. Mountain Chateau, complete as soon as you reach level 20
5. Aviary, complete as soon as you reach level 6

I've completed lighthouse , chapel and don't always get pirate ship to improve. Why?

It's like the chapel you won't see any progress every time don't worry it's there just keep moving along. I thought the chapel would never get completed I never saw any progress but hang in there you'll see it. I just started the pirate ship today. There was no progress to see but I know it's probably inside where you can't see it I hope this helped.
