Why do some players have drinks and avatars that others do not?

Drinks and avatars are earned from the various events. Many of the drinks are earned from Detectives Leagues, and all are listed at https://www.gamersunite.com/scenes/lounge-drinks. Avatar portraits were earned from a variety of events (Memoirs, Travels, Detective Leagues) or were purchased through the Tip Shop or Travels. The longer a player has played, the more of these drinks and avatars were available to them. In addition some players who were invited to the Orchid Society, have additional perks.
