Am on final puzzle for chapter 19. When I slide chair over to block door, the chair will not stay there. What is going on?

I believe you are playing the adventure/puzzle scene in Volume 4, Chapter 19. After picking up the chair, drag it right onto the door handle. Hope that helps.
