Idle Angels

Summoning (Gacha) System

Idle Angels Guide
More Idle Angels

Last Updated:

Idle Angels is an Idle-RPG where you can collect and form a combat party with attractive heroines to defeat various enemies, bosses, and other game content. Summoning is a staple part of any gacha game as it allows you to recruit more characters for your roster. Of course, the most desirable and powerful units are harder to get. In Summoning (Gacha) System guide, we will quickly cover how the game’s gacha system works.

Overview

If you’re playing other mobile games with gacha elements, then you’re already familiar with how the system works. If this is your first time encountering such a system, think of it as a lottery. You’ll need to spend premium currency or special items for a chance to get something from the pool of possible prizes/items/characters. The rarer/more valuable items or characters have a lower drop or appearance rate compared to their uncommon or common counterparts. Every pull is random and you can either be lucky or not.

The game’s gacha system allows you to use Summon Scrolls or Diamonds, the game’s premium currency. The latter can be easily acquired by buying them with real money but you can also earn them for free but in really limited numbers. There are two types of banners where you can summon from; Normal and Elite. Both banners have a pity system which guarantees you to get a character with the specific rarity after a set number of summons.

Summoning (Gacha) System

On top of the pity counter (which will be actively updated whenever you summon), the bonus reward gauge on the top of the banner will also increase for every summon attempt, regardless of the result. Filling up the gauge will allow you to interact with the chest and obtain your bonus reward.

You’ll get a free summon for each banner daily, as part of the game’s daily reset. The details for each banner will be elaborated further below.

Normal Summon

In the Normal Summon banner, you’re guaranteed to get an R unit after 10 summons, and a R+ summon after 30 summons. The pity counter will reset if you obtained an R or R+ unit before reaching the guarantee/pity counter. Each summon costs 50 diamonds while summoning 10x in one go has a discounted rate of 450 diamonds.

Elite Summon

In this banner, you’ll have the chance to get SR/SR+ rarity angels. However, each summon costs 300 diamonds, with the discounted rate of 2700 diamonds when summoning 10x. The guaranteed summon rate is also different, with an SR guaranteed to appear in 30 summons, and an SR+ with a lower chance to appear in 80 summons. The progress of the pity counter will be reset once an SR or SR+ angel appears.

As a general recommendation, save your diamonds and try to do a 10x pull in the Elite Summon banner, as the SR/SR+ characters are always better than the lower rarity ones. The only way you’ll pull in Normal Summon is when you have Summon Scrolls you can get as rewards from events and other in-game tasks. By focusing on Elite Summons, you’re set to get better characters that're worth your limited, valuable resources.
