Hidden Escape: Murder Mystery 2 - Chapter 3 - Project Chronos Walkthrough

This is our guide to Chapter 3 - Project Chronos for Hidden Escape: Murder Mystery 2 is a puzzle adventure game from Vincell Studios. Mallory and Mark continue their adventures and investigate a futuristic murder.

After trying out the headsets and discovering a Futuristic Murder Mystery in Chapter 2 you have removed the headsets and now want to find out where the mysterious delivery came from.

Chapter 3 - Project Chronos Walkthrough

Back in the real world you are in your living room. Tap on the flashing tablet by the TV to view the camera footage on it. You see a drone. Close this to collect the Tablet.

Now you need the shipping label, but it has been torn up. Collect the torn pieces of paper, there are 4 on the floor to collect and 1 on the sofa.You need one more.

Collect the VR headset from the coffee table.

Collect the Key from the top of the games console by the TV, then use this key to open the door of the large cabinet to the right of the window.

Collect from inside a Tape dispenser and a Pet Storage Piece. Next tap on the small cabinet to the left of the window to see a puzzle on the front.

Dog Head Puzzle

• Add the Pet storage piece to it to start.
• Tap the red and blue outer segments to swap them around and complete the picture of the dog.

Now tap to look inside the opened cabinet. Move the clothes on the rail to the left and then collect a Chewy Bone that is in the bottom right corner.

Now you can give the Bone to the dog, she will move and you can collect the final paper piece. Place all of the paper pieces on to the coffee table to start a puzzle.

Arrange the pieces to reassemble the label.

You can tap to rotate the pieces and drag them around.

Now view the completed label, and use the Tape dispenser on it to fix it. Then you can use the Tablet on it to scan the QR Code. This will give you the location for Chronos Technologies.

After the conversations you will need to authorize a face scan and then complete a puzzle.

Access Puzzle

• Tap the red marker (top right) and then choose a direction to move it around the board.
• It will move in your chosen direction until it hits something to stop it.
• Guide it to the end point with the white center.
• You will then need to do this again with a purple marker.
• There are 2 levels to complete
• Check the video below for help.

Once done place the headset onto the stand on the left. You find out that the future murder is real. There is a missing Scene index module.

Collect an Access card that is revealed. Then back up and view a cabinet door on the right side of the room.

Use the access card on this and then you can collect an Enclosure cartridge. A Power Supply and a Knife.

Use the knife on the sealed brown box on the lower right of the room. Then collect the Filament.

Next view the workbench on the left of the room, open the drawer at the bottom to collect an Extruder, a Display and Printer Parts.

Now add the enclosure cartridge to the box on the right side of the workbench, with the pink lines. The box opens a little and you will find a puzzle.

Enclosure Puzzle

Use the circular arrows to royate the 4 circles, then use the double arrows in between each to swap the symbols.

Move all of the symbols to the correct circle to match the sybmol that is next to it.

You will collect the scene index module. Now view the middle workbench where Eric is working. There is a 3D printer that needs to be reassembled.

Collect the Manual from the table top which you can then view. Then add the Printer parts to the table. Add the to the printer frame as shown in the manual.

You can now tap on the display screen to see the next puzzle.

Color Configuration puzzle

• You can swap pairs of the colored squares around.
• Arrange them to match the colors and shades shown at the top and left side.
• When you have then in the right places you can tap the Calibrate button to check them and complete the puzzle

Now tap on the computer on the right side bench and use the buttons to connect to the printer. ~You will need to enter the IP address, this is shown on the manual.

Then tap the print button. Go back to the 3D printer bench and you can collect the VR case. Amanda arrives.

View he computer again, and now follow the instructions to reassemble the headset.

• Open the headset on the left.
• Add the new Scene index module
• Then add the new VR Case
• Tap the button to rescan the scene index.

Now you need to use the headset again. This completes chapter 3. Move on to continue to investigate the murder in Chapter 4.
