The Ghost Case Part 3

This is Part 3 of our guide to Ghost Case, another creative escape room mystery story game from Dark Dome. In part 2 we found our way to Anna who gave us information about the graveyard that the friends visited. We now use the map to travel to the graveyard to find the tomb they opened.

You go inside.

On the left and right alcoves you can collect a lamp and some matches.

Select the lantern in the inventory and then tap on the matches. You now have a lit lantern.

Use this and place it on the broken coffin in the middle of the room.

Tap to look in the open hole of the lid to see that it is empty.

Next note the items on the shelf at the back. This is a puzzle.

Hint: rearrange the items to the correct positions.

Look at the images on the back wall. Find items that will complement the images.

Position 1: Vase with handles -> Puts ears on the head.

Position 2: Animal skull -> a third snake head catching a bird.

Position 3: Wire shape -> fits star constellation above the houses.

Position 4: Flower Pot -> the figure holds the flower shadow.

Position 5: Birdcage -> Bird is caged

Once done note the puzzle panel that opens on the front of the coffin.

Then View the opened panel on the left of the room and collect a ring with a strange symbol.

To investigate the ring we now need to use the map to return to the police station.

You will find details on Frederick Nolson and then add a new location to your map.

Use the map to travel to the 'Store'

Here we can ask Laia some more questions

Collectible: View the Owl on the shelf to the left of Laia.

Ask the 4 questions to learn about the Shamalu Magic, The ritual and the location of another person who may be able to help us. A cemetery Guard who has gone mad.

Check all 4 questions and you will collect a Shamalu doll that you will need to stop the ritual.

Then it is time to travel to the Mental Hospital.

You meet a nurse and now have 4 more questions to ask.

Collectible: Tap the book in the counter to see another Owl.

Ask the 4 questions for information and then following the fourth question you can choose to go and see Lenny.

In Lenny's room you find many pictures and symbols on the walls.

Collectible : There is a paper hidden under the left end of the mattress. View this for another Owl.

Now check the papers on the wall. There are drawings of events that roughly depict a shadowy figure coming to life from the grave and at the end looming over 4 people. There are also 4 symbols These are the clue.

make a note of these in your game as they can vary.

Tap on Lenny to talk to him. You will get a series of clues that will help you with a puzzle.

Make a note of these as they can be different each time.

Now it is time to return to the Graveyard.

You will receive a call when you travel to tell us that both Lian and Anna have been kidnapped. It seems clear that Frederick Nolson is back and plans to kill them to complete the ritual.

View the panel on the front of the coffin again.

You will see the same 4 symbols from Lenny's wall.

Solution:

Below this are 4 shapes to set.

Solution: Follow the riddle to get the correct shapes. For me it was

Sun, Fire, Hurricane (tornado wind spiral), Snail.

With this done a secret passage opens and you can descend.

You can check around this room to note what is here but the next step is to Turn around (tap left or right twice) to see a wall with a hole.

Go through to the next room.

Here you see more clues

Turn to the right to see these 4 small pillars with 4 animal statues underneath.

Hint: you can tap and place the 4 statues onto the pillars. This will make them lower. Find the correct placement.

Solution:

This opens 2 recesses.

Collect the Old bone and the Jar from the left.

Then tap the vase on the right. An insect will fly out and head off around the room. Follow its direction.

Tap the insect again on the flower and it will fly through the doorway. Follow it through.

Continue to tap the insect and follow it until it passes by a tree and causes it to flower.

Tap on the flowers to collect some and remove others. The tree will then disappear and be replaced by a mushroom.

Collect the Mushroom.

Next view the picture on the wall, this is in 5 sections. It is a puzzle.

Hint: tap each section to slide it up. Align the 5 pieces to make a complete picture. Moving some panels will also move others.

Once done you can collect a black key.

Turn to the left to see a red box on a table. Use the black key to open this.

Collect a small jar, a wooden flute, and a pestle.
