Fruit Ninja HD has three single player game modes available:
Classic | You have three lives in this mode, which depletes when you miss a fruit and it falls into the pit at the bottom of the screen. Hitting a bomb also means game over. This mode does not have a time limit and you can keep racking up points as long as you have lives left. |
Zen | Here you'll have 90 seconds to score as many points as you can. There are no lives or bombs in this mode so all you need to look out for is the time limit. |
Arcade | Here you'll have 60 seconds to score as many points as you can. There will be bombs which deduct 10 points from your score when sliced, but there will also be bananas which grant perks when you cut them. |
There are three types of bananas players will come across in Aracade Mode:
Gold | Triggers Frenzy Mode which fills the screen with fruits allowing for easier combos for a set amount of time. |
White | Triggers Freeze Mode which freezes the timer, and slows down movement on the screen for a set amount of time. |
Blue | Triggers Double Points Mode which doubles the points value of fruits sliced for a set amount of time. |
