I keep seeing that portion size can be controlled in the kitchen. How do I do that?

If you tap on the kitchen and then on the 'Food Menu' option at the top you can see what level of food is being prepared. You level up the Hero in the kitchen to improve the level. I don't know if you can control the portion size though.
