How do you unlock all the heroes?

How do you unlock all the heroes? I can't seem to unlock the foundry hero and I am starting to get very bored of the game as I have to wait extended periods of time waiting to get enough resources from that building to build more...

Same thing here, I got the foundry hero from an epic chest I bought with diamonds but I can't figure out how to unlock the iron mine hero.

I am stuck on iron mine too…. And it started get bored.

I'm having the same issue. I'm stuck on the third map and I've unlocked all heroes except the foundry one, no matter what I do I can't seem to unlock it.

I ffel similar. I'm still progressing but very slowly. I spent 800 diamonds I'd earned; on a gold chest hoping to get sophia but still nothing. If the next city has a severe resource bottle neck like this I'll probably quit.

Buy a purple chest from the shop using your diamonds. I got the foundry card Sophia by doing that.

Well God damnit I now have 350 less diamonds and a still stumped iron block production branch.

Heroes come from opening the chests, you can get these in the shop, some of them for free and others for diamonds. You also get some from rewards for completing the tasks, make sure to check if there are any unclaimed chests from building the foundry as it might have the hero in it.

how do I check if I have unclaimed chests? I open chests that are free and have spent diamonds on them but can't seem to get the foundry hero

Same here, can't unlock 2 heroes as well, one for the iron mine and the other for the foundry

And it gets worse, still haven't got Arthur and after a slow grind, I'm now on town 4 still no Arthur plus 2 new ones I can see alot of people quitting this my survivors are hungry and tired and I can't upgrade anything

I feel like the first 2 maps were free to play, but now we have to keep investing in diamonds in order to hopefully, eventually get lucky enough to pull the heroes needed to keep the game going somewhat smoothly.

Seems like this game isn't free after all first two towns were free but they try to make you pay to play and unlock heroes by buying diamonds chests etc to unlock heroes and upgrade things faster.

I'm on town 8 and the grind keeps getting worse, I spent 3000 diamonds (which I got from events) on gold and purple chests, still haven't unlocked a hero that's required to complete tasks.

Basically I'm constantly running low on food and the only way to upgrade buildings and to stop my survivors from starving to death all the time is to either get really lucky and unlock the hero I need or to spend $10 on a bundle. If that isn't bad game design, I don't know what is

I still havent gotten Arthur and its getting really annoying, spent 350 diamonds on the chest and no arthur. this game sucks

I'm on air base and still not received Louis and I've upgraded the laboratory 2x and still nothing
