How have I activated "frenzy'? I've never seen this before despite being on my 179th country. It fills in about 30 letters 2 or 3 times a crossword which makes it ridiculously easy. This seems to be permanent as it's been happening for about a week.
I have the same situation. I actually wrote to the makers of the game- they said it's a new feature to make the game more "interesting". I hope they get rid of it, or at least give us the option of turning it off. It is IRRITATING!!!
Same issue here. I pretty much just do Dr. Hoot daily and then close the app now. Total waste with Frenzy mode and super disappointing. I’ve switched over to the “WoW” crossword app which is similar in format but WAY better.
