Free spin and 2x don’t work when tapped. Frustrating and losing lots of extras? Is server not capable?

Tried hitting 2x buttons hundreds of times and finally gave up I was up to level 9974. and had enough. I deleted the game. I reinstalled it a few days later and it was working fine. Now at level 300 and I am back to the same problem, no 2x. I’m ready to quit for good. What’s the solution here?

Keep tapping. Sometimes it takes 20-30 taps to get the 2x. Most of the time that works though.
