Match 3 puzzle game for petrol heads

For lovers of custom cars and match 3 puzzle games, this is the app for you. At last, there is something more interesting to fix up than a house or garden... Cars! Here are our best Chrome Valley Customs cheats and tips to get you burning some rubber in no time at all.

Chrome Valley Customs Cheats and Tips

Chrome Valley Customs has all of the elements of many other match 3 puzzle games, so if you are familiar with the likes of Candy Crush and Matchington Mansion , this game works pretty much in the same way.

You match up the same tiles on the board in patterns of 3 or more to complete the required quests, then gain coins which you can then use in the main storyline.

Here are our best cheats and tips for the game.

  • Chase the boosts

You'll want to unlock boosts whenever you can. You get these by creating special combinations of tiles which then turn into one of the boost.

So, a simple match 3 will not get you a boost, but if you can match tiles that are 4 in a row, 5 in a row, the shape of a letter T or letter L, or a 2x2 square, as well as removing the tiles in the combo, you'll also get a boost that you can use on the board.

  • Match more than 3 to get boosts

  • Combining Boosts

Boosts are always stronger when you combine them with another boost. In some cases, especially in the early stages of the game, you'll complete the quest just by merging two boosts they are that powerful.

Each boost combo however does have a different effect, so we have a handy list below to help you out with what each of the boosts do and learning the combos.

  • Use Special Objects if you are stuck

There are a number of special objects in the game that you can use if you are close to finishing and are just a bit stuck. These are premium items, so before you use them make sure that you would not be better off just starting the level over and having another go instead of using a premium item.

Boosts and What they Do

There are a number of boosts that you can create on the game board in Chrome Valley Customs, here is a run down of how to get the boosts, what their effect is and what their effect is when combined with other boosts.

Using boosts correctly can have a devastating effect on the tiles in the game, and looking out for the patterns that generate the boost is a really important part of playing this game well.

  • Propeller and Bomb

They will fly off, and cause an explosion taking out a small section of tiles.

  • Propeller

Get a propeller by merging a 2x2 set of tiles.

When activated will fly off and destroy some tiles that are on your quest list.

  • Two propellers

Merge two propellers and they will fly off taking out a number of tiles and possibly exploding other boosts on the board.

  • Propeller and horizontal or vertical boosts

Merge these two tiles together to spin the propeller away and take out a a row and column of tiles too.

  • Horizontal and Vertical

Merge a horizontal and vertical arrow destroy one row and one column of tiles from the point of merging.

  • Horizontal

Get the horizontal arrow by clearing 4 tiles vertically.

Tap to activate to take out a horizontal row of tiles.

  • Vertical

Get the vertical arrow by clearing 4 tiles horizontally.

Tap to activate to take out a vertical column of tiles.

  • Speedometer

Merge 5 tiles in a row or column to get the speedometer. Activate the speedometer by either swiping into a color tile to take all of the tiles of that color off the board or simply tap it for the same effect.

  • Two Bombs

Merge two bombs together to set off a major explosion on the board and destroy all tiles in a 6x6 box area around the point of merging.

How to Complete Hard Levels

The first level classified as hard in the game is level 26. We managed to smash through it pretty easily by going for boosts and then merging them with other boosts. Here is our first attempt playthrough of lhow to complete level 26.

Unlock the Supercharger

When you get to level 33 you get the option to unlock the supercharger which allows you to start a level with some boosts. To do this, you have to complete supercharger levels on the first attempt.

Do this to three supercharger levels to start the next level with the best boosts in the game.

Conclusion

Chrome Valley Customs is a great match 3 game, and this one is targeted towards people that have an interest in cars. I'm one of those people, so certainly enjoyed the opportunities to pick out custom components to make my car look great.

The mechanics are much like any other match 3 game, so if you enjoy those types of games, and love cars, then this is a game you should probably check out.

How do you pass level 246, it's a super hard level and it's driving me crazy. I have no boost etc?

Sometimes, it takes a lot of time and dedication. Since the pieces are randomized, and all of the levels are possible, it just takes days to weeks to complete. Don't give up and eventually you will make it. Id recommend not always following hints, as sometimes other moves could be better. If there is a bomb and it's close to the things you need to destroy, activate it. If you can merge into an item, merge. (if it's a bomb or turbo it should get priority).

What are the green gemstones for?

You can use the games to continue with a level that you have run out of moves for. There may be other uses too as I think it is the premium currency in the game.

Any tips for beating level 118? (updated version) They updated it sometime and made it way harder. Is it even possible?

The level is quite literally impossible I’ve spent 30 nzd to try and beat the level and still failed.

Level 155, how to beat it, stuck?

I'm also stuck on this level, no boosters, have burned thru all my extras, cannot buy more moves bc no gems.. For a game thats supposed to be a casual car restoration game, some of these levels are a bit too challenging. I understand thats how they promote microtransactions, but dang, I just want to restore cars.. Instead I have to complete 45 puzzles, 10 of which are difficult and 5 are extremely difficult. Before I can MAYBE finish the car.

How do I beat level 137?
