Adventure Escape: Vanishing Act - Chapter 3 Walkthrough

Adventure Escape: Vanishing Act is an escape room puzzle game, part of the series of Adventure Escape Mysteries from Haiku Games featuring Detective Kate Gray.

In Chapter 2 we caught up with Gail at the Smoke & Mirrors club and discovered that she is Kate's estranged sister Allie. We know flash back 20 years to Kate and Allies childhood.

Chapter 3 Walkthrough

After Allies asks Kate to bring here the rabbit you can start checking out the scene. First pick up the journal that is on the ground to read it. Look through it for a clue.

Next tap on the gnome on the right side to move it then you can collect the Garage Key.

Star: Move the Gnome near the water to find it.

Use the key on the large door to open it and enter the garage.

First collect the Carrier (pet cage) from the shelves on the left. Then open the small red drawers to collect the yellow Wrench. And the cabinet above the tools rack to collect a green Wrench.

Next collect the Planks from the green wheelbarrow. Then tap on the winch in the far corner, the handle is missing.

Wrench Puzzle

• Place the 2 wrenches you have to start.
• Tap pairs of wrenches to swap them around.
• Arrange them in the order shown in a clue.

From the photo in the journal

Collect the Lawn Mower Key.

Use the key on the lawn mower to move it. Then you can ope a red toolbox behind it and collect a Hammer.

Next tap on the large tool locker below the fire extinguisher to see the code lock. The lock has 4 colors as clues.

Collect some Nails and also the Pulley Handle.

Use the handle on the winch to lower the canoe.

After it falls, open the backpack that is inside and collect the Bunny Treats.

Now use the planks and the nails on the broken canoe. Followed by the hammer to secure them.

Then you can tap the canoe to take it outside.

Place the carrier in the pen with the rabbit and then add the treats to it.

When the rabbit goes inside you can close the cage and collect Lola.

Place the carrier into the canoe to start the Rapids puzzle

Rapids Puzzle

• Use the arrows to move the canoe around.
• When you enter a moving stream of water the canoe will travel to the end and stop when it reaches calm water again.
• Find a way through the rapids to the green flag at the top.

When you reach the tree house you now need to help Allie with the trick.

Star: on the Garage building on the far side of the river.

Collect the Fishing Rod from the yellow canoe and open the box on it to collect some For Gloves.

Next view the sign board by the river.

Use the gloves to clear away the Ivy. This is now a clue, count the number of fish, bears and trees on the signs.

Now head up to the Tree house. You need the secret knock. Notice the symbols on the door.

Now you can enter the tree house. Inside Allie will give you a To-do List.

Move the Jenga blocks on the table on the left to then collect the Binoculars and open the bag by Allie to collect some Balloons.

Then collect the Stereo from the floor on the right by the door. And tap the pink Balloon machine on the shelf above it to see that it is missing batteries.

Now tap the window on the left to look out.

Use the Fishing rod on the Cloth kite to collect it. Then use the binoculars on the building in the distance to view them for a clue. Notice the numbers and related shapes this is a clue.

Back inside the tree house view the cabinet to the left of the door.

Cabinet Puzzle

• There are 4 rings that you can turn, each one has shapes with numbers in them.
• The red arrow points up to the top segment.
• Line up the correct 4 shapes with numbers in the top segment to open the lock
• The clue is the buildings seen through the binoculars.

The buildings each have shapes on top and numbers on them. They give you Triangle-2, Square-9, Diamond-8 and Circle-5. Find these on the rings and arrange them as shown.

Collect a Screwdriver and a Cloth Blanket from the cabinet.

Now examine the Stereo in your inventory and turn it to look at the back. Use the screwdriver on the cover to open it and collect the Batteries.

Now use the batteries on the balloon machine and then add the Balloons to it to get the Inflated balloons.

Now you can give the balloons to Allie and then collect the Trunk Key. Go down to the riverside again and use the key on the large trunk by the tree.

Collect a Blacklight Bulb and a Cloth Cape from the trunk.

Now add the 3 Cloths that you have to the rope on the pulley, it is not yet long enough.

Go back into the tree house and add the Black light bulb to the spotlight.

Then collect the Cloth banner from behind Allie. Go back out and add this to the rest.

Collect Lola in the carrier from the canoe and add the carrier to the improvised pulley.

Head back into the tree house, then close the blind on the window and turn on the spotlight to start the magic show.

After the show Lola has floated out of the window. Head outside and then you will start the Bunny Chase

Bunny Chase Puzzle

• You control Kate, swipe to move here 1 step in any direction.
• When you move Allie will also move but in the opposite direction.
• Lola will move as well and will try to reach the paths on the left or right to escape.
• Move Kate and Allie to corner Lola so that she cannot escape.

Solution:

This completes the flashback and then your follow the rest of the conversation to complete Chapter 3, Continue to Chapter 4.
