What is the collection center? What's it's purpose, what is the best item to collect? What does deleting do? I got an upgraded green jar of stars.

So you can gather materials for upgrades for your fighter ships., diamonds and stars modules fighter ships. The higher you upgrade your collection center the more reward you get, I typically go for nano which upgrades your base and stars and diamonds I don't care about anything else.
