I can't play my wildcraft game bc it says I need to update it but when I go to the app store to update..

I can't play my wildcraft game bc it says I need to update it but when I go to the app store to update it I type in the name of the game which is wildcraft and the button does not say update all of says is open I done told the people that made Tue game and they habe not done Anything its been 2 weeks since I told them pls help me

It happened to me to but you just gotta put your device on safe mode and update it and it will work I hope this works have a happy and healthy day.
