If I'm playing as a baby wolf how do I get a mate?

Firstly, the pup has to grow into an adult. Then it has to start it's own family.

Note: by starting it's own family you will be removing it from its current one. Once this is done the wolf is on it's own and cannot go back to it's original family.

To seperate the wolf and start it's own family go to the main menu. Once there click on your wolf where it says "Press to change an animal". Then click on the family tree button at the top left corner of the screen. Select the wolf you want to start a new family with. (They must be at least lvl 10).

Now in a new world all by itself it can search for a mate.

When you are playing as a pup and looking for a mate you must be at level 5 to find one and level 10 to have pups

You don't. Only the first of every family gets a mate.
