After adding a friend on WildCraft sim, it shows him as being online, and later on while I’m playing..

After adding a friend on WildCraft sim, it shows him as being online, and later on while I’m playing he leaves, I go back to check on my list to see if he is there and he is, but later in time I see him on my list but then dissapears, I thought maybe he just moved down the list but I checked and he wasn’t there at all, why? And why just a particular friend?
