How often do PvP Solo events become available?

How often do PvP Solo events become available? I was on there on Friday morning then ever since then when I try to get in it says 'no event at this time' on pvp solo but pvp team seems to always be available. And this is still using the same character so I havent changed animals or anything. When do the pvp solo events occur?
Every now and then, it becomes available. But im pretty sure it becomes available once a week or something like that. It doesn't stay forever, just like other events dont. But ill have to check my wild raft to be sure. Ill keep track and come back when I know.
So I've been playing pvp for a while, and it usually pops up around 3 times a week for me at least
