I opened a few chests and got a legendary skin, but I can't put it on, and It shows that I need to buy it. I play in one player mode. What to do? Is that a bug?

No, it's not a glitch. Skins come for the wolf, horse, lynx, and fox. You probably got a skin for a character you don't have unlocked yet.

It's probably just because you got it for another animal.
