Why does my friend lose health?

Every time my friend transforms, they lose health instead of gaining health. WHY?? I really want to help them.

Pretty sure it's just the transformation having less health than the regular animal, I could be wrong tho :^

Yeah but I found ghost fox on the mountains on wldcraft when I searched for him with my pet and family but he jumpscared me.
