You can't play as your pet. It just follows you around and helps you kill.

Don't know. Might just be since Pets are basically your sidekicks and are meant to kill enemies, maybe in the future they will add the same animals to be playable as the pets.Closest thing to playing a pet is playing one of your babies, cubs, kits, pups, foals, chicks. :D

You've seen other peeps play as their pets?? If you did you probably misunderstood. You might have seen a cub, kit, foal or something.
